NAACP Mid -Manhattan Branch
”As President of the NAACP Mid-Manhattan Branch, let me thank all of the members of the Canaan Church Family for participating in the December 10, 2011, Stand For Freedom March and Rally. Close to 30,000 Freedom Fighters turned out to protect and defend our voting rights.
On Martin Luther King Day across the nation, the NAACP will launch an unprecedented voter registration drive and our first-ever voter identification drive. And throughout the entire year, the NAACP will wage voting rights battles in state houses and courts around the country.
On Sunday, January 15, 2012 we will have a Voter Registration Table set up in the lobby of the Sanctuary at Canaan Baptist Church of Christ. Immediately following the 11:00 am service, we will register you to vote
