Celebrating 50 Years - The Letter From Birmingham Jail On the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Birmingham Freedom Struggle and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s, “Letter From Birmingham Jail.” The Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture will celebrate the “Letter” and a salute to Canaan Baptist Church of Christ, Pastor Emeritus and Harlem’s own, The General of Birmingham, Rev. Dr. Wyatt Tee Walker, Sr. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome.
